Vishal Karwal Biography 
Vishal Karwal is a popular television actor, who gained attention through reality shows. He gained attention for the first time after appearing MTV Roadies 4 as a contestant in 2007, followed by the first season of MTV Splitsvilla 1 in 2008, where he emerged as the winner. He gained popularity among youth after his appearance in MTV Splitsvilla 1. He was also seen in the reality show, Bigg Boss Seaosn 6 in 2012 as a contestant. He played the title role of Lord Krishna in Dwarkadheesh - Bhagwaan Shree Krishna during 2011-2012. He also appeared in television series – Bhagyavidhata and Rangrasiya. Currently he appears in Jamai Raja.
Karwal was born in Himachal Pradesh to Punjabi parents settled there. His father owns a jewellery store. Both his parents had worked in school. He was raised in a joint family in Bhawarna and later moved to his ancestral home in Punjab. At the age of 10, he was sent to a boarding school at Dalhousie. He completed Engineering in Computer Science and is also a trained commercial pilot, who completed his course from US in 2008.
Karwal came into limelight after his appearance in MTV Roadies in 2007, where he was voted out in 4th episode. He returned back in a bang to win the first season of MTV Splitsvilla. Very soon he turned a TV host through the show on MTV – Couplesutra. Since then offers came pouring in. He landed into a television soap in 2009 through Bhagyavidhata as Vinay Sinha. Then he was seen in a few more television roles. Punjabi film, Aappan Pher Milange, in 2012 marked his film debut. But the film was a box office failure.
