Vipul K Rawal Biography

Vipul K Rawal is a noted script writer of Indian movies and an enterpreneur. His most significant work is Bollywood movie – Iqbal. A New Love Ishtory, Bijlee, Audi Alteram Partam and Vicky Ki Taxi are other script works of Vipul. He also writes stories and dialogues for Hindi movies. Vipul is an entrepreneur with interests in e-commerce and recruitment consultancy. He is the proprietor of eBiz India. Vipul Rawal has a very unique hobby of collecting old newspapers and his collection even include newspapers dated back to year 1744.  He collects special editions of historic events like Mahatma Gandhi Assassination, Indian independence etc.

Vipul was born in the former princely state of Wadhwan. He did his schooling from a Military School in Dehradun and completed it at Vapi. His college days were at Chennai, the time when he was fascinated by Indian movies and entertainment industry. The place where his college was situated, Kodambakkam is known by the name Hollywood of south and thus he got more opportunities to get exposure to this sector. He used to take rounds at studios and met film makers and actors during his college days. He has also worked in a few Tamil movies as a junior artist.

But later, he joined the Indian Navy in May 1988. But he couldn’t find interest in military services and quit job to pursue a career in screen writing. To earn a living, he worked at Wipro technologies in operations and later HR division. He regularly wrote articles to newspapers and magazines during this time and was able to convince the director with the script of Iqbal. The movie released in 2005 was directed by Nagesh Kukunoor under Subhash Ghai’s production. The story telling about the dreams of a young cricketer was critically well acclaimed and was a box office hit too. The movie received numerous awards including National awards for film on social issues. Then he quit the job and completely involved with film scripts.
