Vatsal Sheth Biography

Vatsal Sheth is a popular actor associated with Bollywood, best known for playing the lead role in the film, Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Debutant Ayesha Jhulka played the female lead and Ajay Devgan appeared in a pivot role in this film. In fact the wonder car was the main attraction of the film. Though the movie sank at box office, its lead actors are still known for this film. Vatsal later acted in a few more movies and television serials. However he has been unsuccessful in the entertainment industry, and is not in the spotlight for past few years. Nanhe Jaisalmer, Heroes, Paying Guests etc are other noted roles. He was seen in a cameo appearance for the last time in Salma Khan starrer Jai Ho. He is also known as a model and entrepreneur.

He was born in Mumbai on 5 August 1980. He is of Gujarati origin. He received his graduation Degree in Mathematics from Mithibai College, Mumbai. During his younger days he dreamt to become a scientist and was keen in computer programs and games. In fact he coded a few games too, and wanted to become a software engineer during his teens. But following his big break to television through Just Mohabbat, he dropped his idea to join IT field, and decided to take acting as his profession.

As a teenager he played the role of lead hero Jai in his debut television series, Just Mohabbat. He got his first break to films through Abbas-Mastan’s thriller, Taarzan: The Wonder Car. The movie also marked the debut of his co-star Ayesha Jhulka. The movie is still loved by kids a lot. He played the older version of Jaisalmer in Nanhe Jaisalmer. He is currently associated with celebrity cricket team as well as badminton. In 2013, he contested as a wild card entry in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
