Vandita Shrivastava is a successful model and actress, who appears in television and movies. She is best known for playing the supporting roles in Chal Pichchur Banate Hain, Shamitabh, Talaash, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and The Shaukeens. She is to appear in the upcoming adult flick of Sunny Leone – Mastizaade and also, "Hai Apna Dil Toh Awaara”. Apart from CID and Shapith, she has also acted in a couple of television series - Mata Ki Chowki and Tum Dena Saath Mera. She is an MBA and corporate professional worked with MNC’s like Samsung and Dodsal enterprises before she turned actress and model.

She was born in Kanpur, UP in the 1983 to an Army officer. This 5 feet 7 inches tall actress had a passion of acting since younger days. She always had a gut feeling that she would be seen on the silver screen someday. From an army background and academics of business administration, she landed into her passion of cinema. She pursued MBA just to become a thinking actress. She started off with a few short films and television serials - Mata ki Chowki on Sahara One and Tum Dena Saath Mera on Life OK. She has also experience of ramp walk and print ads.

She got into offbeat mainstream films such as Vishal Bhardwaj's film Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola and Reema Kagti's Talaash apart from commercial movies like The Shaukeens and Shamitabh. She always wanted to do roles that the legendary actress Smita Patil did. She has worked with leading directors - Vishal Bhardwaj, Reema Kagti, R. Balki and Abhishek Sharma till now and also achieved her A-wish list of working with Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Amitabh Bachchan.
