Vandana Gupte Biography 
Vandana Gupte is a great name in the world of Marathi theatre. She is also a successful television actress. She is best known for television audience for portraying Nilambari Pandey in Zee TV's comedy serial Kareena Kareena. Vandana is the daughter of noted classical singer Manik Varma. Noted television actress Bharati Achrekar is her sister. She has appeared in Bollywood movies - It's Breaking News (2007), The Other End of the Line (2008) and Meerabai Not Out (2008). Matichya Chuli, Samaantar, Lapandav, Pachhadlela, Mani Mangalsutra and Divasen Divas are her noted Marathi movie appearances.
She was born in Mumbai to Manik Varma and Shri Amar Verma. Her mother was a doyen of Kirana gharana of Hindustani music and a popular light music artist. Bharati Achrekar and Rani Varma are her siblings. Vandana Gupte made her debut in 1993 with Marathi movie Lapandav. Mani Mangalsutra, Samaantar, Matichya Chuli and Divasen Divas are her most noted Marathi movies. She is best known for playing the role of Nilambari Pandey in Zee TV’s comedy serial Kareena Kareena. Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka, Aambat Goad and Pandey Aur Pandey are other television appearances. Pandey Aur Pandey was a Hindi Bollywood Songs Countdown Show Zee TV in 2006.

She played the role of Chintamani in Chaar Chaughi and Chandralekha in Ramale mee. She portrayed the role of Nilambaridevi Pandey in comedy sitcom Kareena Kareena aired on ZEE TV in 2004-2005.
