Vaani Kapoor Biography 
Vaani Kapoor is an Indian film actress, who gained popularity through her debut movie, Bollywood hit of 2013 - Shuddh Desi Romance. The movie earned her Filmfare award for best debutant female for the same. In 2014, she debut south Indian film industry with the remake of Yash raj film’s Band Baja baraat. The movie was titled, Aaha Kalyanam in Tamil where Vaani reprised the role of original played by Anushka Sharma and Nani portrayed the role of Ranveer Singh. The movie was released in February in Tamil and Telugu languages and both did average business at box-office. Her both releases are based on the concepts of relationships and marriages, particularly with new concepts of youngsters who are not willing to enter commitments.
Vaani Kapoor was born on 23 August 1988 in Delhi. Her father is an entrepreneur and mother, an executive. Her elder sister is settled in Netherlands. She completed her schooling from Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Delhi and did a correspondence course in tourism studies from IGNOU. She took up an internship with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur and worked for ITC Hotel for a short period. She was signed for Elite Model Management and thus she entered the modelling industry.
She made her acting debut through television series – Rajuben. Then she signed 3-film deal with Yash raj films, Shuddh Desi Romance being the first. In this movie, she played parallel lead aside Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput was the hero of this love triangle. The movie was based on the theme of live-in relationships and hesitation of present generation to enter marriage. She played the role of a traditional Punjabi girl Tara, whose marriage was fixed with the lead hero, Sushant Singh Rajput. The escape of the hero from the commitment, his living together relationship with Parineeti Chopra, and how Vaani returns back to his life forms the sketch of the script. Narrated in an interesting and comic way, the movie gives new concepts of relationships among youngsters.
