V. Harikrishna Biography 
V. Harikrishna is a popular music director and singer of Kannada film industry. He is the son-in-law of famous music director G. K. Venkatesh. Working as assistant to great composers of Kannada, Hamsalekha, V Ravichandran and Gurukiran in the decade of 1990’s, he started his independent career in the year 2006. He is one of the most successful music directors in the recent times who was fortunate enough to win hat-trick in Filmfare awards for best music composer category. Till now, he has done more than 50 films for the industry and most of its songs have been chartbusters. He always make big hits with Yograj Bhat and Darshan.
Hari started his career in 1990’s working as assistant to many leading composers of the time. He was a keyboard player, programmer and arranger also. He has also composed music for daily soaps of television and musical albums. His debut was the movie Jothe Jotheyali in the year 2006. Both the movie as well its music was hits at box office. 'O Gunavantha', 'Surya Kannu Hodeda', 'Sikthare Sikthare' and 'Koline Koogodilla' were all chart busters. His second big break came in the year 2008 with the movie, Gaalipata directed by Yograj Bhat. This movie presented him the first Filmfare Award for Best Music Director as well. After that, his career noticed new heights and he became one of the top music directors of the decade.
His next big movie was Raj, The Showman, directed by Prem. This movie released in the year 2009 helped him to accumulate awards including Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director for the first time, Filmfare awards for the second time and Suvarna Film Awards also. He created history at Filmfare awards by winning it for the next year also, for the movie Jackie, thus completing the hat-trick. His other noted works include – Addhuri, Saarathi and Anna bond.
