Urvashi Rautela is an Indian Supermodel and Bollywood actress. She is also an International Beauty queen winning the prestigious titles, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2011 in China, Miss Asian Super Model India 2011 in South Korea and Miss Teen India 2009. She was crowned Miss Universe India in the year 2012. She made her Bollywood debut in the year 2013 through the movie, Singh Saab the Great where she played lead role opposite Sunny Deol. Two love scenes between the lead actors were edited out, a day after the release of the movie. The movie received positive response from critics. The movie gave her multiple nominations for Best female debut at various film awards including Big Star Entertainment Awards, Stardust Superstar of Tomorrow, Star Guild Awards and Zee Cine awards.

She was born in Nainital in 1994. She has studied at international film school, New York Film Academy - School of Film and Acting (NYFA) New York on a scholarship. Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week for the year 2011 marked her grand debut at Fashion field where she appeared as Teen Supermodel. She also appeared in many popular television ads and thus a popular face in the fashion world. She is a trained dancer who has trained in 7 dance forms from classical dance to contemporary ones. She is also a national level basketball player.

18 year old Urvashi was crowned I am She Miss Universe 2012. Unfortunately she couldn't represent India at Miss Universe contest as she was found to be too young to compete. Her mentor Sushmita Sen tried her best, but couldn't send her to Miss Universe beauty pageant. The first runner-up Shilpa Singh represented India and she managed to finish among top 16, putting an end to 4-year drought at Miss Universe contest, after Puja Gupta in 2007.
