Tulip Joshi Biography 
Tulip Joshi is an Indian actress that appeared in Bollywood film industry. She was born on 11th September 1979 in Mumbai. Her father is a Gujarati Indian and her mother is an Armenian Lebanese who moved to India. She was brought up in India and she attended Jamnabai Narsee School and then Mithibai College. She got her graduation in food science and chemistry.
She is interested in sports and took part in National level athletics. She has two sisters, Selphi and Monalisa. She took part in Femina Miss India in 2000 and though she did not come out as a winner, she was noticed by the advertising agencies and appeared in a number of advertising campaigns that include Ponds, Pepsi, Siyaram, BPL, Smirnoff, etc.
Her entry into film industry was unexpected. She was the friend of the bride of Aditya Chopra and when she attended the marriage she was noticed by Yash Chopra and was made as an actress in the film Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. As her name was quite uncommon she chose the Indian name Sanjana.
She appeared in the film Matrubhoomi and Dhoka which established her career as an actress. She appeared in the Telugu film Villain and partnered with Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Soha Ali Khan in the film Dil Maange More.
She appeared in the Punjabi film Jag Jeondeyan De Mele in 2009 and she acted in the Kannada film Super by Upendra. This was a super hit movie and was dubbed in other languages. Her films include Matrubhoomi, Dil Maange More, Shoonya, Mission 90 Days, Dhokha, Kabhi Kahin, Super Star, Konchem Koththaga, Daddy Cool, Kag Jeondeyan De Mele, Runway, etc.
A suit was filed against her in the Kalamassery Police Station against Tulip Joshi in January 2011 as she refused to act in the movie Dam 999 after getting advance. As she did not turn up for the shooting, she was replaced by Megha Burman and was asked to return back the money paid to her.
