Trisha Krishnan Biography 
Trisha Krishnan is one of the important award winning actresses in the South Indian film industry. Her participation in Tamil movies Gilli and Saamy and Telugu movie Varsham increased her fame. She was born on 4th May 1983 in Chennai, his parents Krishnan and Uma Krishnan hailed from Palakkad. She knows many languages like English, Tamil, Hindi and French and was affectionately called as Honey.
Trisha Krishnan studied at Sacred Heart Matriculation Higher Secondary School at chennai. She participated in a number of cultural activities when she was at school. She finished her BBA in Ethiraj College for Women where she took to part time modeling. She showed her face in television advertisements like Fanta, Vivel ITC, Tata Indicom, etc.
She made her first debut in the film Jodi in which she did a small role. Her first debut as a heroine was in the film Leysa Leysa was a flop. A string of failure in the films like Manasellam and Alai marked the beginning of her career. Mounam Pesiyadhe in which she paired with Surya was a great success. Later she gave many box office hits both in Tamil and Telugu. Other important films she acted are Gilli, Saamy, Aayitha Ezhuthu by Mani Ratnam, Something, Something, Unakkum Enakkum, Tiruppaachi, Kireedam, Kuruvi, Abiyum Naanum, Vinnaiththaandi Varuvaayaa, etc. in Tamil and Nuwostanante Nenoddantana, Athadu, Pournami, Bangaram, Krishna, King, Namo Venkatesa in Telugu.
Her fame made her the topic of controversy in 2004 when a nude video of Trisha taking bath was circulated over the internet. But she denied her appearance in the clip. She filed a complaint and the Editor of Tamil Weekly Netrikan was arrested for publishing nude photographs damaging the reputation of Trisha.
She has won Filmfare Award both for Tamil and Telugu movies. She won Miss. Chennai in 2000, Miss. Salem Steel City in 1999, Miss. Beautiful Smile – Femina, and Miss. India Contest 2001. She is the brand ambassador of Fanta India, Fiama Di Wills and Scooty Pep+ and endorses Perk Chocolate.
