Tina Parekh Biography

Tina Parekh is a former model and noted television actress. She has also appeared in many television ads, of which Rasna, Fairglow, Emirates, BSL Suitings, Hero Honda, Lux, ICICI Bank and Airtel are most popular. She made her television debut through the popular series of ZEE TV, Hip Hip Hurray created and directed by Nupur Asthana. She was one among its new actors who appeared in the show after extensive auditions and workshops with the show's creators. Later she appeared in several television shows like CID, Astitva, Khichdi, Dollar Bahu, Mansha and Kahaani Teri Meri and has co-hosted a musical count down show – Ek se badkar ek, aside Karanvir Bohra. She has also contested in the dance show Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar aside Bohra and Teejay Sidhu.

Tina belongs to Jaipur, Rajasthan. She is a psychology graduate from Mumbai's Mithibai College. After college she wanted to get into Public Relations (PR). However she had a few friends in the modelling field who encouraged her to do the same. She attended auditions and got attracted to modelling field. Though she had a few teething problems, she convinced her dad and got her portfolio done. Her first ad was ‘Shapers’ and she also appeared in a music video, Collosus.

She signed for the second part of Hip Hip Hurray and there was no turning back after that. Balaji Telefilms' rejuvenated Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (KGGK) as 'Shruti' was her first noticed role on small screen. It provided to be her big break to small screen. Next noticed role is ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and both these roles have given her appreciation at television awards. Later she became regular in many television serials and became popular in ZEE TV, Sony and Star Plus.
