Tena Desae is an upcoming Bollywood actress, who played lead role in critically acclaimed suspense thriller of 2013, Table No.21. She played the role of Siya Desai opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. Earlier she became popular through the music video - "Yeh kahan mil gaye hum" sing by KK in 2009. She debut big screen with 2011 Hindi thriller film Yeh Faasley, followed by the action comedy Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande. She made her international debut in 2012 through English comedy-drama The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. She posed for the prestigious Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar in 2012. She is a successful model and has appeared in more than 100 television commercials till now.

She was born in Bangalore on 24 February 1987. She was born to a Gujarati father and a Telugu mother. She completed graduation in business management from National Institute of Management College. She started modelling in 2007 and came to limelight for the first time when she participated in reality show contest Get Gorgeous. After this contest, she got a contract with Elite Model India Management Private Limited. She became successful through modelling and thus she got the first offer from Bollywood. She played the lead role of Arunima Dua, the daughter of one of the biggest builders in town, who returns home after studies. This story that travels through the past life of her parents was well received by critics.

Then she played cameo roles in ‘Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande’ and ‘Cocktail’. She appeared in British Comedy drama - The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in 2012. Lead role in 2013 thriller - Table No.21 placed her among the hot actresses of Bollywood at present. The movie did fairy well at box office too. Her upcoming movies are Dussehra and sequel of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
