Swati Kapoor Biography

Swati Kapoor is a film and television actress. Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha marked her television debut as lead actress and later she made her film debut through a Punjabi film, Mr & Mrs 420, where she played one of the female leads. She made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the adult comedy – Fiddu and was later seen in Mere Genie Uncle in 2015. Hamari Saass Leela, Twist Wala Love and Mastaangi are her television roles.

She belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She stepped into the threshold of her dreams in the year 2009 while doing her graduation in commerce. She didn’t take any formal training in acting. Yet she started doing photo shots and prepared portfolio to pursue a career in entertainment industry. Since 2009 she worked on various projects on television and films. She played the protagonist in the television show “Kaali Eak Agni Pariksha” aired on Star Plus and later appeared in a few more serials. She also played the main lead of the television show “Humari Saas Leela” that was broadcasted on Colors.

Later she took a break from television to try luck in films. Punjabi film - “Mr & Mrs. 420″ in 2014 marked her film debut. The vibrant and bold beauty made her Bollywood debut through Fiddu released in 2014, where she played the female lead. An adult comedy movie written by Pawan Kumar, the movie was directed by Anurag Basu's assistant, Sunil Subramanium. Swati shared screen space with Shubham, Vicky Ahuja and Pradeep Gupta for this sex comedy. Whenever she gets free time, she indulges into reading and cooking. She is inclined towards arts and craft and loves making candles, scrap books, and cards.
