Swanandi Tikekar Biography 
Swanandi Tikekar is a noted television actress associated with Marathi entertainment industry. She is the daughter of famous theatre personality - Uday Tikekar and legendary classical singer Arati Tikekar of Hindustani music, belonging to Agra, Gwalior & Jaipur-Atrauli gharanas. She currently appears in the popular Marathi series - Dil Dosti Duniyadari, and has made her Bollywood debut in the year 2013 through the film – Rangrezz. She is associated with Marathi entertainment industry since 2013. She has also participated in several nataks.
She was born and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra. She was born on 13th November 1990 to the popular couple - Uday Tikekar and Arati Tikekar. Uday is known for his popular role as Babaji in ZEE Marathi show, Julun Yeti Reshim Gathi. Born into a family with strong artistic, theatre and music background it was obvious that Swanandi Tikekar would also accept the same path, similar to her parents. After completing graduation, Swanandi took LLB to pursue a career in law. However she joined entertainment industry later.
During her college days she has been associated with experimental theatre and worked as stage actress in Prize Tax. After LLB, though she decided to go abroad for further studies in Law, her parents made her realize that art is her right path. So she gave up her decision to go abroad and pursued a career in theatre and television. She has already done basic classes in dancing and acting during her college days. She is also a talented singer, like her mother and grandmother. She made her television debut through Dil Dosti Duniyadari. In parallel she is also doing theatre. She is associated with a musical fusion show, Goshta Eka Kalya Pathraya Paddyachi, which includes a fusion of old and new songs.
