Suza Kumar Biography

Suza Kumar is an actress associated with Tamil cinema, known for playing supporting roles. Made her debut in the Tamil film Ethir Neechal (2013), she was later seen in 2014 Ajith starrer film – Veeram. She later starred in two low-budget horror films, Vellikizhamai 13 am Thethi and Kanneer Anjali. Maanik is her upcoming release. A model-turned actress, she holds a diploma in cinematography at the New York Film Academy and also did a filmmaking course at the SAE.

Suza Kumar hails from Chennai. She was born on 16 September 1994. Her father is into business. She studied at SBOA school, Chennai. As she was interested in films and movie making, she pursued a diploma in cinematography at the New York Film Academy and also did a filmmaking course at the SAE Institute in Singapore, where her father was doing business. Then she returned to India to pursue a career in Tamil film industry. She loved Chennai a lot, and that’s why she returned to India insteadof staying in Singapore with her parents. She also briefly worked in modelling industry starting with TVC ad, before she started accepting film roles.

Wunderbar Films saw her photos on the Internet and offered her a role in Ethirneechal. Thus in 2013 she marked her film debut in a supporting role. She portrayed a brief role as Sivakarthikeyan's first love interest and her role of a middle-class girl got noticed. The song "Nijamellam Maranthu Pochu" featuring Suza was indeed popular, and she also earned critics’ appreciation for her brief role. This role also helped her to earn a brief role of a journalist in Ajith starrer super hit action film, Veeram the following year. Though she later appeared in a couple of low-budget films, the roles went unnoticed.
