Suresh Menon Biography

Suresh Menon is a Bollywood actor known for comic and supporting roles. He has been regularly featured in many comic movies in the recent times. Bheja Fry 2, The train, Partner, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa, Stumped, Dasvidaniya, Crazzy 4, Badhaai Ho Badhaai, Deewane Huye Pagal, Ra.One, Chalte Chalte, Asoka, Kabhi na kabhi, Aksar, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and Dil to pagal hai are his noted works in supporting roles. In 2013, he played the comic role of Hardik, in Grand Masti who decides to take revenge by killing his college principal. Known as one of the best known mimics of entertainment industry, he was the judge of Star One’s Hello Kaun? Pehchaan Kaun! aired in 2009. He has also appeared on Television show Comedy Circus.

Menon is mostly popular for his comic performance in several films and comedy shows. Prior to his entry to entertainment industry, he worked in marketing and sales department. He completed Chartered Accountancy before entering full time job. ‘Main Bhi Detective’ was his first television show, which he co-anchored with Sajid Khan. It was followed by a string of comedy shows on Indian television like Pandey Pillai on ETC channel, The Comedy Show Ha Ha Ha for STAR One, Half Hour Laff Hour for Zoom channel, Kaun Banega Champu and Rakhee Ke Bouncer for Sahara Filmy channel, thus establishing himself as a comedian.

He entered films in the mid 1990’s doing small roles in Bollywood movies like Dl to pagal hai, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and Kabhi na Kabhi. With mid 2000’s, he started getting meaty roles and Grand Masti is his most popular role in the recent times.
