Suresh Krishna Biography

Suresh Krishna is a Malayalam film actor known for supporting and grey shaded roles. Vinayan's Karumadikuttan in 2002 marked his big screen debut. Later he appeared in numerous roles of various shades and one of the top rated supporting artists of Malayalam film industry right now. Manju Poloru Penkutti, Christian Brothers, Pazhassi Raja and Kutty Srank are known for portrayal of strong characters. Kaitheri Ambu of Pazhassi Raja and Loni Aasan of Kutty Srank are his best known characters till now. Earlier he was a successful television actor of Malayalam and Tamil before making his big screen debut.

 

He was born to Malayalai parents belonging to Guruvayoor, Thrissur. He was born and brought up in Chennai where he completed his education. He is married to Sree Lakshmi and the couple has two kids. His first acting experience was for one Tamil serial by Madhu Mohan in 1990. Thiruvalluvar in 1995 was his most memorable role which earned him praises and appreciation. ‘Sthree Janmam’ was his debut Malayalam serial and his second serial, Swapnam fetched him Kerala State award for best television actor. Orma aired on Asianet is another memorable serial of Suresh.

 

He made his big screen debut through 2002 hit, Karumadikuttan. In this movie, he played the villain’s role. His role was noticed and thus he became a part of Malayalam film industry. Christian Brothers, Pazhassi Raja, Manju poloru Penkutty, Kutti Srank, Pappi Appacha and Rapakkal are some among his most memorable roles. "KuttySrank" won him a Film Fare nomination for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role for the year 2010. With the comedy movie, "Chettayees" released in 2012 he turned a producer.
