Sudhi Koppa Biography

Sudhi Koppa is an Indian actor associated with Malayalam film industry. He is a prolific actor known for portraying supporting roles. Associated with film industry in the year 2009, he is best known for his roles in You Too Brutus and Aadu. Sudhi Koppa is also a theatre artist who owned his own drama troupe called 'Creative Theatre Group before he joined film industry.

Sudhi Koppa was born and brought up in Kochi. His father is a patron of arts, who loved theatre a lot. So since younger days, his father’s interest theatre deeply rooted in Sudhi’s mind too. Later he started off as a theater artist with drama troupe Vaikom Thirunal Theatre Group, and later formed one called 'Creative Theatre Group'. He made his film debut in 2009 with a brief role as a henchman attacking the lead actress. During early days he played only small roles on screen.

Amen was one of the noted roles he played in the first phase of his career. He played Sebastian who tries to woo Rachana Narayanankutty, Fahadh Fasil’s sister. His bit roles in Manglish and Sapthamashree Thaskaraha also got noticed. Yet it was the movie, Aadu which brought him the real break he was waiting for. 'Kanjavu' Soman was one of the pivot roles in the film. Though the movie received negative reviews and was a flop at box office, his role as 'Kanjavu' Soman earned him many good roles later.

Unni in You Too Brutus also gave him a major breakthrough. He has played henchman type of roles multiple times, and Appunni in Darvinte Parinamam surely deserves mention. Currently seen in several major releases, Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya, Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Alamara,Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi, IDI: Inspector Dawood Ibrahim, Guppi and Kavi Udheshichathu worth mentioning.
