Suchitra Biography 
Suchitra Karthik Kumar is an Indian Tamil Radio Jockey and south Indian playback singer. She was born and brought up in Chennai. She has done guest appearances in a few Tamil movies. Yet she is known as a successful radio jockey and playback singer. She started her career as a radio jockey through Radio Mirchi. She is also a noted dubbing artist and has given voice to Shriya Saran in Kandaswamy, Malavika in Thiruttu Payale, Tamannah Bhatia in Kedi, Namitha in Indira Vizha, Ramya Raj in Naanayam and Shikha in Kola Kolaya Mundhirika.
She debut as a playback singer through "En Polave Kattru" of 2002 movie, Laysa laysa where she sang aside K. S. Chithra. Music was given by Harris Jayaraj. She has worked with leading music directors of Tamil film industry like - Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vidyasagar, Mani Sharma, James Vasanthan, Devi Sri Prasad, G. V. Prakash Kumar and S. Thaman. "Oru Chinna Thamarai" of Vettaikaaran, Title track of Goa, "En Idhayam" of Singham, "Ye Unnathan" of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya, "Ailasa ailasa" of Vanakkam Chennai, "Oh Ringa Ringa" of 7am Arivu and "Theeyae Theeyae" of Maatram are among her noted Tamil songs. Araanu nee of Grandmaster and Theyyaram of Trivandrum Lodge are her noted Malayalam songs. She has also sung a few Telugu film songs.
Her graduation was completed at Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram. Then she moved to Coimbatore for her MBA. After post-graduation, she started her career in Sify, when she auditioned for a radio jockey in Radio Mirchi. Thsu she became a radio jockey and worked with it for 6 long years before completely got engaged with playback singing. "Dole Dole" & "En Chella" of Pokkiri made her a successful singer of both Tamil and Telugu film industry.
