Subhash Chandra Biography 
Dr. Subhash Chandra also known as Subhash Chandra Goel is one of the top businessmen, television personality, motivational speaker and philanthropist who donates generously to the society. Subhash Chandra was born in the family of Tara Devi Geonka and Nandkishore Goenkaon on November 30, 1950 in Hisar, Hariyana State. He now lives in Mumbai where he has the headquarters of his business which is estimated at $4.4 billion according to latest reports of Forbes.
At the age of 20 Subhash Chandra started to take part in his business by starting selling rice which is his family business, in Hissar. But he was not interested in trading so by the year 1992, he had started many firsts including the launch of Zee Television, which he did in collaboration with Li Ka Shing a business magnate from Hong Kong and later he started many other firsts in India, a leisure park Essel world, the first on line lottery, the first Dish TV, the first flexi packing. The number of TV channels owned by Subhash Chandra around 70, including local language Hindi caters for the need of almost 730 millions viewers in almost all over the world.
Subhash Chandra has business interests in packaging industry and cinema multiplexes and cricket. In fact the credit of infusing the life to Indian Cricket Twenty20 League goes to Subhash. Subhash Chandra took over management responsibility of Daily News & Analysis popularly known as DNA, which ranks among the top 10 English language dailies in the country and growing rapidly. Dr Chandra is the founder-Chairman of the Global Foundation for Civilization Harmony, for which he has donated land at Borivili and contributed a large sum to popularize meditation method known as Vipassana.
