Srithika Biography

Srithika is a popular actress associated with Tamil cinema and television. Nadhaswaram, Mamiyar Thevai, Uravugal Sangamam and Kula Deivam are some of the popular TV soaps with which Srithika has been associated with. She has also worked as a TV host. Yet she gained popular through the small screen roles as an actress. She is associated with entertainment industry since 2008. 2008 series, "Kalasam" for Sun TV is her debut work, where she essayed the role of Madhu. En Iniya Thozhiye is her most recent work on television, aired on Raj TV during 2015-2016, where she portrayed the lead role of Pari Sathya. She has essayed both supporting and lead roles on small screen.

 

Srithika’s childhood and younger days were spent in Malaysia, where she completed her school and college days. Her father ran business in Malaysia. Later the family shifted to Chennai and settled there. She has one elder sister Sudha, who worked as a TV hostess. Her sister helped her to earn work as a model for commercials. In 2009 she got her first break on small screen through the show, "Kalasam". It was followed by a supporting role in Gokulathil Seethai. Since then she is fully associated with entertainment industry and has completed 1 decade in her professional career.

 

She earned her first lead role through third series, Nadhaswaram, where she essayed the lead role of Malar. Since then she played female lead and parallel lead in a string of series. Some of her popular TV shows include - Mamiyar Thevai, Uravugal Sangamam, Vaidehi, Uyirmai, En Iniya Thozhiye etc. She currently plays the female role of Alamelu Sundaram in the popular series, Kula Deivam since 2015. She shares screen space with T. S. B. K. Moule and Vadivukkarasi for the show.
