Sreerama Chandra Biography 
Sreerama Chandra Mynampati, popularly known as Sreerama Chandra is the first South Indian singer to win Indian Idol – the most popular singing talent hunt show of Indian television aired on Sony TV. As expected, he won the contest without facing much opposition from its contestants. He was announced the winner of Indian Idol season 5, on the independence day of 2010. He was awarded by the superstar of millennium, none other than Big B in the function. He was the finalist and 1st Runner-up of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star 2 in 2012. Now he has entered Telugu film industry as an actor as well as singer. His debut movie Sri Jagadguru Aadi Sankara is to release soon. He plays the supporting role of King in this biopic. Prema Geema Jaantha Nai is another upcoming project.
Sreerama became the first South Indian to win this reality show where he earned 50 lakh rupees, a one-year contract with Sony Music Entertainment, a Tata Winger car and dream chance to sing in YRF of Bollywood. State Government of Andhra Pradesh honored him with the Lata Mangeshkar Award and a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh. He sang a few top songs of Bollywood like "Subhaanallah" of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Balma of Khiladi 786, Madhubala and Remixed version of Ishq Risk, both from the movie – Mere brother ki dulhan.
As a successful playback singer of Telugu movie, he has sung about hundred songs for various movies including - Ashta Chamma, Notebook, Life is beautiful, Broker, Toofan, Neramu Siksha, Katha Screenplay Darshakatvam Appalaraju, Badrinath, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Routine Love Story and Kalyanram Kathi. He has given live performances in many stage shows including closing ceremony of Common wealth games 2010. He has also performed abroad.
