Sonali Raut is a successful model and young actress. She is to make her Bollywood debut through 2014 bollywood film The Xpose, a musical thriller with Himesh Reshammiya in lead role. Sonali Raut apes bold Zeenat Aman from Satyam Shivam Sundaram in ‘The Xpose’. The popular song 'bhor bhaye panghat pe' has been revisited by director Anant Mahadevan and the promos in which Sonali appears cladded in a white wet sari have already gone viral over net, for the bold look of the actress. The movie is set in 1990’s and rumored to be loosely based on the death mystery of actress Divya Bharati. Sonali appears in the role of Zara, an actress who falls from a building and whole story is based on the murder mystery.

She is one among the 5 sisters and her elder sister, Ujjwala Raut is the first super model from India and winner of "Femina Look of the Year" at the Femina Miss India 1996 contest. Sonali too is a successful model of present times and has modeled for prestigious Kingfisher Calendar in 2010 and Maxim, along with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh most recently in 2014. She has also been featured in many ad campaigns. Her TV commercial of ‘Idea’ is very popular.

She is a Maharastrain, born in Mumbai on December 23, 1990. Her father is a retired Assistance Commissioner of Police and all the 5 kids were raised by her mother. As her father was a police officer, he was very strict in bringing up his daughters and they were not allowed to hang with boys. Raut started her career as a Model for kingfisher calendar in 2010. It gave her big breakthrough to entertainment industry.
