Sonali Bendre Biography 
Sonali Bendre is an Indian model and actress and she has starred in many Hindi films. She also appeared in films of other languages like Marathi, Tamil and Kannada films. She took part as one of the four judges in the fourth season of Indian Idol and India’s Got Talent. In the films Sarfarosh and Diljale she acted as the female protagonist.
She was born on 1st January 1975 in Mumbai in a Maharashtrian family. She studied at Kendriya Vidhyalaya Malleshwaram School at Bangalore and Holy Cross High School in Thane in Mumbai. She has three sisters. She married the film director Goldie Behl on 12th November 2002. Her son Ranveer was born at the Breach Candy Hospital on 11th August 2005.
She started her career as a model for the Star Dust Talent Search program. She was invited to Mumbai and there she got trained by top actors and performers of the film industry. She acted for the first time in Aag with Govinda in the year 1994. She had to struggle to establish herself as a successful actress. She received critical acclaim for her performances in Diljale in the year 1996.
She acted in some other films namely Bhai in 1997, Murari, Sarfarosh, Zakhm, Duplicate, Kadhalar Dhinam, Hum Saath Saath Hain: We Stand United in 1999, Tera Mera Saath Rahey and Anaahat in 2003. She has acted with the prominent figures of Hindi film industry, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor.
Through the films Gaddar, Sapoot, Bombay, Lajja and Major Saab, she established herself as a graceful dancer. She made a special appearance in the film Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003. She acted in the theatre play called Aap Ki Soniya. She hosted the television show Kya Masti Kya Dhoom and the 50th Filmfare Award. In 1995 she won the Filmfare Lux New Face Award and in 2001 received Star Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress.
