Sini Jose Biography
Sini Jose is an Indian sportswoman who competes in sprint athletics. She specializes in the 400 meters race and has won gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held at Delhi.
Sini Jose was born on 25th May 1987 in Muvatupuzha in Ernakulam district of Kerala. Her father’s name is Jose Joseph and her mother’s name is Rithamma Jose. She is employed at Indian Railways at Ernakulam.
She won gold medal at the Federation Cup athletics held in Ranchi on 2nd May 2010. There she could reach 400 meters in 53.01 seconds and this is her career best. In 2011, she was tested positive for using drugs and so was banned for two years. Five other athletes Mandeep Kaur, A. C. Ashwini, Jauna Murmu, Tiana Mary and Priyanka Panwar were also banned along with her.
