Siddharth Nigam Biography

Siddharth Nigam is a popular child artist associated with Hindi television and cinema. He is best known for playing Aamir Khan’s childhood (double) role in mega blockbuster Bollywood film, Dhoom 3 released in 2013. As a television actor, he shot to fame after playing the childhood role of Emperor Asoka in the popular historic series on Colors TV - Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, the show that was premiered on 2 February 2015. He also played the childhood role of protagonist Gautam Rode in the popular TV show, Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani, which bagged 'Certificate of Merit' at the '52nd Chicago International Television Awards' in 2016.

He hails from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He was born in the year 2000. He is also a gymnastic player. He schooled at Khelgaon Public School. Nigam began his career as a gymnast and has won gold medal at National level gymnastics. Since 2011 he started modelling and appeared in TV ads as well. He appeared in the TV commercial of Bournvita, which bagged him the first film role – Dhoom 3. He was called for auditions which he got through. Once the movie got released, he got excellent reviews from film critics. The super success of the film also gave him many new offers, both from film field and television.

Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani (2014) marked his debut in television. The show was produced and directed by Arvind Babbal. He played the childhood role of the lead character of the show, Rudra. The show met with critical success and was a popular series among audience too. The following year he bagged the show, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which earned him multiple awards at Television award functions. He earned all the major television awards – Telly Awards, Zee Gold Awards, Indian Telly Awards and Golden Petal Awards for this single role, mostly in the child actor category.
