Shyam Ganesh Biography

Shyam Ganesh is a noted actor associated with Tamil entertainment industry. He plays supporting roles in Tamil films, apart from doing TV soaps. Shyam is married to popular television actress, Sindhu Shyam Ganesh. Shyam made his acting debut in 1995 with a television role and since then he is fully active in the entertainment field. He has completed two decades in the film industry. He is best known for playing one of the four brothers in N. Linguswamy's debut film Aanandham. Dhina, Youth, Rendu, Alli Arjuna, Manasellam, Joot, Manathodu Mazhaikalam, Ottran, Oru Naal Oru Kanavu etc are some of his popular roles. Shyam has now switched on to television roles and he is extremely popular on mini screen.

 

Shyam hails from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He started his acting career in 1995. He was first seen in the TV series Shakthi before he moved to films. He became regular with television shows since 2002 and has appeared in some of the popular shows such as Annamalai, Kadavulukku Kobam Vandhadhu, Ninaivugal, Kalki, Ahalya, Bhairavi Aavigalukku Priyamanaval, Pillai Nila, Idhayam, Rekha IPS, Vamsam, Uravugal Sangamam, Akka, Ponnunjal etc. He is associated with the horror thriller drama, Bhairavi Aavigalukku Priyamanaval since 2012. The show successfully completed 200 episodes in January 2016. Ponnunjal is his most recent show, aired on SUN TV since 2013.

 

Shyam switched to television roles since he couldn’t make it big on big screen. Yet he has played some noted supporting roles on big screen since late 1990s. He has successfully completed 20 years in the television industry. Till now he has acted in more than 75 Tamil serials. Shyam had experience in the ad field in the early 1990s before he marked his acting debut.
