Shruti Reddy Biography

Shruti Reddy is a south Indian film actress, known for the movies, Jagan Nirdoshi (2013), Jaihind 2 (2014) and Neeku Naaku Dash Dash (2012). She works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Her name is also pronounced as Shruthi Reddy. She completed her IT Engineering course and also MBA before she finally decided to join acting stream in Indian entertainment industry.

She was born in Kadapa of Andhra Pradesh. She was born into a Telugu speaking family. She has been very brilliant in her academics since her school days, and is a trained classical dancer too. Shruthi learned Bharatanatyam in childhood. She also actively participated in cultural activities and won several competitions and awards. Shruthi completed her graduation in Engineering in Information Technology. from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. Shruthi dreamt of joining Indian air force, but later gave in to mother’s advices who wanted Shruti to take engineering course. After graduation Shruthi received placement in HCL, but she quit the job for advanced studies in business management. She had good communication skills and English fluency, best suited for sales & marketing field than a software engineer, and that’s why she left the job. She pursued MBA from SRM B- School, SRM University, Chennai.

During her final year of engineering, she was asked to walk the ramp for a fashion designer in ABN Andhra Jyothi’s channel. It was her first ever modeling assignment. She got interested in this field and e took part in many modeling assignments and fashion shows. She also participated in Miss North India 2011 and won Miss catwalk before she finally decided to choose a career in acting. She enrolled herself for a full- time Diploma course in Anupam Kher’s acting school in Mumbai and landed into film world.

Shruthi Reddy marked her acting debut in 2012 and has appeared in many Telugu and Tamil movies. She played a village girl in People’s war, and has gone glam in Jagan Nirdoshi. Shruthi Reddy have acted in Neeju Naaku Dash in which she had the special appearance in song ‘Boys Boys’.
