Shristi Rana Biography

Shristi Rana is the current Miss Asia Pacific World and she was crowned the title by another Indian model, Miss Asia Pacific World 2012 Himangini Singh Yaduon 30th October 2013. Thus this annual beauty pageant started on 15 October 2011 has already two winning models from India in the past 3 years. She participated in Miss India Universe 2013 and got entry to Miss Asia Pacific World. She was a finalist of Femina Miss India 2013 on 24 March 2013 where she was crowned Femina Miss Fashion Icon. She was a Runner up of Pond’s Femina Miss India Delhi 2013.

Sristi Rana was born on 9 February 1992 at Faridabad, Haryana. She did her schooling from Modern Vidya Niketan in Faridabad, and later attended Manav Rachna International University. She is currently doing graduation in journalism and Mass Communication. Painting and music are her hobbies. Since childhood days she used to stand in front of the mirror and was a self-admirer. She always desired to be admired by others and thus she chose modelling as her career. After successfully completing Indian Diva 2013 Delhi audition, she made her way into the Indian Diva 2013 as a finalist. Till now, Lara Dutta is her favourite Miss Universe. According to her, beauty is the purity of heart and mind and so she advises young ladies to remain natural without imitating others.

On 30th October 2013, she became the second Indian model to be crowned Miss Asia Pacific World 2013, held at Korea. She also won Best National Costume Award where she wore a Peacock dress depicting the national Bird of India. Srishti Rana was one of the finalists of Femina Miss India Delhi and second runner up of Miss India Universe 2013.
