Shresth Kumar Biography

Shresth Kumar is a budding actor associated with Hindi television soaps, known for playing supporting roles. He is best known for playing the supporting role of Sunny in Sawaare Sabke Sapne... Preeto and Salil Mittal in Kitani Mohobbat Hai on NDTV Imagine both aired on Imagine TV. Shresth made his debut with Imagine TV show Kitani Mohabbat Hai as Salil Mittal in the year 2009, and since then he has acted over 10 television soaps. Currently he plays the role of Vyom in the popular television series, Mere Angne Mein.

Shresth Kumar was born in Delhi in 1988. He has one younger brother. He was always passionate about acting. So he didn’t want to waste his time in higher studies. But he completed his graduation and a Mass media course, before he worked for the news channel IBN in Delhi for about one year. From editing to packing, he was also associated with two shows - Dewanage and Premier7, where he carried the role of anchoring as well. His first appearance on mini screen happened with ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’, a soap opera, in 2009. He played the role of Salil Mittal, which got easily recognized and appreciated. His supporting role of Sunny in Sawaare Sabke Sapne... Preeto earned him more recognition than his debut work.

Some of his television works include - Bairi Piya, Na Aana Is Des Laado, Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Ek Boond Ishq, Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki and Saath Nibhana Saathiya. He has also worked in Doordarshan show ‘Akhand Saubhagyawati Bhava’, following his role as a tennis coach in ‘Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage’. The actor feels that luck is most important in showbiz. Now he is trying his luck in films as well.
