Shoaib Ibrahim Biography

Shoaib Ibrahim is a popular actor from Madhya Pradesh, known for playing the male protagonist in   Sasural Simar Ka on Colors TV. His lead role as Prem Bharadwaj shot him to instant fame. After taking a break from the series following the leap of the story, he took his time to learn martial arts and dancing. He trained in different types of dance forms like Bollywood and contemporary. Shoaib made his television debut with Imagine TV's show Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, followed by Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati. He took a break from television in 2013. He was last seen in Sasural Simar Ka as male lead.

Shoaib was born 20 June 1987 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He spent his childhood in his hometown and completed Engineering in IT. He made his acting debut through 2009 series, Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, where he played the character of Karan. He rose to fame after playing the male lead in Sasural Simar Ka, opposite Deepika Samson. A diehard fan of actor Salman Khan, he feels that the name ‘Prem’ suits him very much, and he comments that his role as a family man, similar to Salman Khan who played many such roles onscreen with screen name Prem.  

Shoaib is also a model, who has appeared in the ads of Whirlpool, Voltas, HCL, Uninor, etc. He has also modelled for several shows as a ramp model. Cricket and dance are his favourite hobbies and he loves to interact through social networking sites. He wishes to go for an arranged marriage in the future. For his role as lead hero in Sasural Simar Ka, the actor made a lot of preparations. From 81 kilos he reduced his weight to 71 kilos and followed a strict diet plan too.
