Shivani Rangole Biography

Shivani Rangole is a rising star of Marathi film industry at present. She has also played noted television roles in the recent past. Most recently she was seen essaying the role of a young girl living in the neighborhood of Mukta Barve, in hit Marathi film ‘Double Seat‘. She essayed the role of Vaibhav Mangle‘s young daughter, in the Marathi TV serial ‘Shejari Shejari Pakke Shejari’. This smart, talented and beautiful young actress has a promising career ahead. Currently 21 years old, she is passionate about acting. She plays the lead role in Ravi Jadhav’s forthcoming film ‘&.. Jara Hat Ke’ directed by Prakash Kunte. Siddharth Menon plays the male lead, and the movie also features Mrunal Kulkarni and Indraneil Sengupta.

Shivani was born and brought up in Pune. Her father is a mechanical engineer and her mother is a teacher. She completed graduation from Fergusson College, Pune. She has performed at inter collegiate drama competitions during her college days. Started with supporting roles in television and cinema, she has been promoted to lead heroine’s role in Marathi film industry. Already played pivot roles in Marathi films - ‘Double Seat‘ and ‘Phuntroo’, which gave her major break to Marathi film industry, she is to play her first lead role through the Marathi film -‘&.. Jara Hat Ke’ directed by Prakash Kunte. In the past two years or so, she has done remarkable improvements as an actress.  

She is also a theater artist, who is associated with this field since her college days. She has been a part of the successful plays like ‘Anathema’ and ‘Jhulta Pool’. In fact, she got the break through role of ‘Phuntroo’ after the director Sujay Dahake watched her performance in the play ‘Jhulta Pool’. She has been associated with Sudarshan Rangmanch a few years ago, where she received training from Pradeep Vaidya.
