Shivani Raghuvanshi is a Bollywood actress best known for playing lead role in highly acclaimed Bollywood film, Titli, one of the best movies of 2015. It was her debut film. The movie directed by Kanu Behl also starred Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Shashank Arora and Lalit Behl in pivot roles. She was paired with Shashank Arora for the role. She is also a theatre artist who is associated with this field since school days.

She was born and brought up in Delhi. She has one brother and one sister. She did her honors in botany at Delhi University. Since school days, she was associated with theater and has also done street plays. She has directed one play while studying in class 9. She was spotted by a coordinator, while she was on a travel in Delhi, who offered her first TV ad. She appeared in a Vodafone ad. Very soon she received a call for an audition from Yash Raj Films. She attended auditions and got shortlisted. As she was raw, she attended several workshops before got finally selected to play the lead role of Neelu. Titli – is far away from the commercial and entertaining films of Yash Raj Films.

Though she studied science she was oriented towards arts subjects. Her parents rarely took her and her siblings to cinema. Yet she was inclined towards acting and movies. She got interested in acting and directing while studying in class 8. She was influenced a lot by the sets, characters and costumes of film Devdas, while she was at school. But her parents wanted her to complete her education first. She debut silver screen at the age of 24 through Titli, produced by Aditya Chopra and Dibakar Banerjee.
