Shikhar Dhawan Biography 
Shikhar Dhawan is a shiny star of Indian Cricket at present famous for his cracking shots in 20-20 and ODI. He is a left-handed open batsman and occasional right-arm off break bowler. He is the top player for Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL Team. He made his first-class debut for Delhi in November 2004. On 12th August 2013, he created another magic with his bat. He scored 248 runs of 150 balls for India A against South Africa A thus recording the second highest score in a List A Match. His international debut was against Australia in the year 2010. His test debut was too against Australia in the year 2013 and scored the fastest century by any batsman on Test debut (187 runs off 174 balls). He missed his double century by just 13 runs. Now this man in form, with promising career is creating records one after the other.
Dhawan was born on December 5, 1985 in Delhi. In the 2004 U-19 Cricket World Cup he played for India becoming the top scorer by 505 runs from seven innings - a record for a single U-19 World Cup. He made his runs at an average of 84.16 with three centuries and was declared the Player of the Tournament. His bat continued to do magic one after the other and he did again in his Ranji debut in 2004-2005. He became the topper of his team scoring 461 runs. He was consistent in his form as well.
Similar to great Sachin Tendulkar his debut match also began with a ‘duck’. It was against Australia in Visakhapatnam in October 2010. He made his T20I debut against West Indies in June 2011 tour and it too, was not a nice day for him to remember. But his debut Test match had another written script scoring 187 runs, thus making it to Indian Cricket Record book.
He has played for Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad and collected a total of 1851 runs from 67 innings. 95 Not out - is his highest score and he scored his innings at an average of 32.47 and strike rate of 122.42 as on August 31, 2013.
