Sheetal Singh Biography

Sheetal Singh is an Indian actress who works in television and Bollywood. She made her Bollywood entry through 2013 movie Nasha, where she played the love interest of its lead actor Shivam Patil. She was also seen playing the pivot role of ghost in Vikram Bhatt's production Horror Story in 2014. She highly scored in critics’ appreciation for both these movies. As a television actress she is best known for playing the role of 'Roshni' in TV Series ‘Paanch 5 Wrongs Make A Right’. She was also seen in television series – CID, Halla Bol, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Yeh Hai Ashique.

Sheetal Singh belongs to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her first break was Nasha, where she played a meaty role. She played second lead to Poonam Pandey in Nasha. She surprised the audience by her classic performance and very soon she bagged her next Bollywood movie. She played the pivot role of Maya – the ghost in Vikram Bhatt's Horror Story in 2014. The movie received moderate success at box office and critics appreciated her acting talent. According to her, it was a bit challenging to apply make up for the role. She received a similar role very soon but rejected it as she was not interested in playing stereotype roles or typecasting herself.

This talented actress became an overnight sensation with the television series – ‘Paanch 5 Wrongs Make A Right’. She played the female protagonist, Roshni Kataria in the popular television series - Paanch 5 Wrongs Make A Right, an ambitious girl who dreams to become a scientist. Paanch earned her multiple nominations for debut actress at various television awards. She played the lead role in one of the episodes of Halla Bol.
