Sheelu Abraham is a Malayalam actress who played character roles in Salam Bappu s Manglish, Comedy thriller She Taxi etc.  Worked with many leading stars of Malayalam in 2015 including Mammootty, Mohanlal and Jayaram, she was seen in Manglish, Kanal, Aadupuliyattam etc and Puthiya Niyamam is her upcoming flick, where she shares screen space with Mammootty and plays an IPS officer’s role. Known for dignified roles, her pivot role in ‘She taxi’ was appreciated by critics. Sheelu entered film scene after marriage. Mohanlal starrer Kanal, in which she played a supporting role, was produced by her husband Abraham Mathew.

Sheelu was born in Bharananghanam, near Pala, Kottayam. Her family was originally settled in Mumbai, where she completed her school education. She had the passion for acting right from the childhood. She is married to Abraham Mathew, Managing Director of Abaam Group and has two children. She made her film debut in the year 2013, with the Malayalam film - Weeping Boy, starring Sreenivasan and Lena. The movie was directed by Felix Joseph, where she portrayed the role of Dr. Rose. It was followed by Manglish, where she played the character role of Lalitha.

But she gained recognition for the first time through the negative shaded role she played in Kavya Madhavan starrer – She Taxi in 2015. She was one of the pivot characters of the film. Though the movie fell flat at box office, Sheelu got exposure through this single movie. Since then she plays notable roles on Malayalam screen. In November 2015 she made claims after she reached film field even the close friends avoided her, though she started off with the full support of her husband.
