Shakti Arora Biography

Shakti Arora is a young television actor who has appeared in popular television series like Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Tere Liye and Pavitra Rishta. He is the grandson of Bollywood actor of yesterdays, Chandrashekhar. His acting career began in the year 2007 with a bit role in Dill Mill Gayye of Star One. Baa Bahoo Aur Baby aired on Star Plus in 2009 was his real small screen debut where he played the role of Jigar Arvind Thakkar. He was paired with Maneka Lalwani for this popular television series. Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Gyaan Guru, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Webbed are other popular screen appearances. He has also participated in cookery show, Rasoi Ki Rani, aside his Tere Liye co-star, Neha Saxena in 2013. He also appeared in one movie, It's a Man's World in which he played a male prostitute.   

He was born in Mumbai on May 16, 1986. He played the role of Jigar Arvind Thakkar in his debut television series, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. However Tere Liye was his real breakthrough in which he played one of the pivot characters. He played the female lead's brother Taposh Bimlendu Banerjeee. He played negative lead Mukul in his next show, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. In MTV India Webbed show too, he played negative role. He played lead role in Sanskaar Laxmi aired on ZEE TV in 2011.

With his debut movie, he did the forbidden role of Indian culture, Male prostitute. He interacted with real male sex workers for the movie. He played the role of a Punjabi boy who comes to Mumbai for acting, but is forced to take up the job of male prostitution to earn his daily bread.
