Shafaq Naaz Biography

Shafaq Naaz is an Indian actress associated with Hindi television soaps. She is the younger sister of actress Falaq Naaz. Both the sisters have earned fame in Hindi television arena. Shafaq is best known for playing Mayuri in SAB TV's Chidiya Ghar. The show is being aired now. Her role as Kunti in Hindu mythology series Mahabharat was also appreciated. She has appeared in many episodic shows also, such as Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India, Gumraah, Teri Meri Love Stories etc. She is nicknamed Shaffi. She is also a model and dancer.

Shafaq Naaz was born into a Muslim family on February 7, 1993 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her graduation before she started television career. Her elder sister Falaq Naaz is also a successful television actress. Following her sister’s footsteps she too reached the same world of entertainment. She is associated with television since 2010, and was seen in the series, Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai playing the supporting role of Guni. Sanskaar Laxmi, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, Teri Meri Love Stories, Shubh Vivah, Crime Patrol, Madventures, Gumraah, Savdhaan India etc are a few more works. Shafaq Naaz is quite regular in her shows, and most frequently appears in episodic and crime series.

In 2017 she appeared in a cameo role in Hindi film, Guest in London, where she was seen as Sherry Anaya’s friend. She has two brothers and one sister. Her brothers are Sheezan and Sabeer. She lost her father at a young age. Travelling, Yoga and Shopping are her favourite hobbies, while Cheese Pizza, Tomato garlic soup, Rajma-Chawal and pasta add to her favourite dishes. Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan are her favourite actors, while Priyanka Chopra is her favourite heroine from Bollywood.
