Sayani Gupta is a young and talented actress associated with Bollywood. She caught attention for the first time through her Bollywood flick - Margarita, with a Straw in 2015 starring Kalki Koechlin. She played the bold role of the blind Pakistani Bangladeshi lesbian in the critically acclaimed movie. She has also been a part of the commercial film, Fan in 2016 in which she played Shah Rukh Khan’s personal secretary. Both these roles were well appreciated. She made her film debut as lead actress through 2012 Bollywood film - Second Marriage Dot Com, though the movie went unnoticed.

This talented young actress belongs to Kolkata, West Bengal. She made her film debut through Second Marriage Dot Com in 2012. Though the movie went unnoticed, it was praised by critics for its first half. Sayani also received rave reviews for her acting performance. She was paired with Vishal Kaushak and Mohit Chauhan and Charu Rahtogi together formed the main lead. The movie told an unexplored theme – second marriage of two seniors, arranged by their kids and how the relationship between their kids turns to love.

She was the real scene stealer of the movie, Margarita, with a Straw, the movie which won multiple awards at many international film festivals. Later she received an invitation from Yash Raj Films to attend the auditions of Fan through facebook. They failed to contact her through her cell number, as she has changed the contact number. Even while she attended the audition, she didn’t know she was to share screen space with King Khan for the movie. She came to knew about it only after she was selected for the role. Now this promising actress has some big projects in her kit – Jagga Jasoos and Bar Bar Dekho.
