Sayali Bhagat Biography

Sayali Bhagat is a model and Bollywood actress. She won the title of Femina Miss India World in 2004 and competed in Miss World contest 2004. She has also worked in a few films of which The Train: Some Lines Should Never Be Crossed (2007), costarring Emraan Hashmi and Geeta Basra is a noted Bollywood experience. She played the role of Emraan Hashmi’s wife in this movie. Her other noted Bollywood movies include – Halla bol, Impatient Vivek, Good luck, Jail, Ghost and Paying guest. She played supporting roles in Bollywood movies like Paying guest, Jail, Rajdhani express and Naughty @ 40.

Sayalai was born on 1 January 1984 in Maharashtra. She belongs to a Gujarati family in Nasik. She completed graduation (Bachelor of Management Studies) from Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute of Finance and Management Studies. She entered modelling industry and participated in Femina Miss India contest where she became the runner-up of the contest. She represented India in Miss World contest 2004, though she was unplaced. She has done ramp walks modelling for Dentzz, SNDT College show and Swarovski gems fashion show. Her success in Femina Miss India contest offered her numerous modelling assignments as well as film offers. She has also interviewed cricketer Rahul Dravid for MTV Bakra.

 
She debut silver screen in 2006 opposite Emraan Hashmi in the movie, The Train: Some Lines Should Never Be Crossed. Though she got the role of Emraan’s wife, it was Geeta Basra who stole the real show. Later she played lead roles in Impatient Vivek, Good luck and Ghost. She played Shiney Ahuja’s wife in supernatural thriller movie, Ghost. She entered south Indian movies with Blade Babji, a Telugu movie in 2008. Next year she debut Tamil with Newtonin Moondram Vidhi. She has also appeared in Telugu movie, Inkosaari.
