Sanskruti Balgude Biography

Sanskruti Balgude is a popular Marathi film actress who made her film debut in 2014. Sanngto Aika opposite veteran actor Sachin Pilgaonkar marked her film debut and later she was seen in a series of movies in 2015 - Shortcut, Bhay, Ek Thriller Night, Shinma and Shivya. Prior to entering movies, she worked in Marathi television and has appeared in television series like Pinjara, Vivaha Bandhan and Jallosh Suvarnayugacha. She is known as “Anandi” for her lead role in Zee Marathi serial “Pinjara”.

 

Sanskruti Balgude was born on December 19, 1992 in Pune, Maharashtra. She schooled at Symbiosis Secondary School Pune, and later studied at S. P. College, Pune. She is trained in dance forms since young and has been performing for shows since the age of 7. Apart from Indian shows, she has also performed in Switzerland, Mauritius and France. She trained in south Indian classical dance form Bharatnatyam from the prestigious Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune. She had a great passion of dancing since childhood days.

 

She started off playing noted roles in Marathi television. She played lead role of Anandi in Pinjara, which earned her recognition as well as offers to Marathi cinema. She received a call from film director Satish Rajwade and asked if she would be interested in doing the role of Mohini in his next film. He has already seen her work in Pinjara. Though it was a middle-aged mother role, she accepted it as a challenge as she didn’t want to miss on the opportunity to work with Sachin Pilgaonkar and the director. After the debut movie, she received numerous offers from Marathi films and now she is busy in doing films. She had 4 releases in 2015.
