Samiksha Bhatt Biography

Samiksha Bhatt is an Indian television and film actress. The actress started her career with the academy awards 2012 nominated movie - Ballad of Rustom. Later she was seen in short films and telefilms before her debut in feature films. Apart from playing a pivot role in Hinsa Par Vijay as female lead, she also worked as Chief Assistant Director for the movie. She also played lead roles in 2015 movies – Zeroline and Kuch Alag sa...... She won Best Actress Award at Lakecity International Film Festival for her outstanding performance in Valentine (2013). She also appeared in award winning Tamil telefilm – Naermugam in 2012. She has also done the lead role for the television series - Sankat Mochan Hanumaan and Uff! Yeh Nadaniyaan.

Samiksha was born in Dungarpur and her family shifted to Jaipur. Her mother was a bank employee and her father worked as an executive with several multinational groups of marble mining. He also works as a consultant of Astrology and Vastu. Apart from studies, Samiksha excelled in extracurricular activities including quiz competitions and drawing and has received the titles - Miss Paulina and Best Student Award in St. Paul's Senior Secondary School, the school which she studied.

While doing final year graduation, she started attending auditions for movies. That’s how she bagged her debut role - Ballad of Rustom. After completing IT course in Manipal she appeared several interviews to work as a software engineer in Bangalore for 1.5 years. But very soon she quit the job to pursue her passion in acting. She already started giving auditions while working in the IT firm. As a television actress, her role of Sita in television serial, Sankat Mochan Hanumaan is the most popular one. She played the female lead in the television series - Uff! Yeh Nadaniyaan.
