Samaira Rao Biography

Samaira Rao is an actress associated with Bollywood and Hindi television world. Most recently she was seen in a negative role of a personal secretary in Salman Khan’s blockbuster - Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The role proved to be a career breakthrough. She was earlier seen in the film, Isi Life Mein, released in 2010. Mostly associated with episodic shows on Indian television she played lead role in her debut show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage and Savitri. She acted in episodic shows - Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India @ 11.

She made her television debut through the show - Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage on Sony Television, for which gained recognition. She essayed the role of Mansi in the soap, which made her a popular actress. She was paired with Himmanshoo Malhotra and their sizzling chemistry onscreen even suggested that they were more than just friends. However both the actors have denied a relationship. She made a cameo appearance in Savitri and was also featured in Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India @ 11.

In 2010, she has got a role in a Bollywood movie ‘Isi Life Mein’. It was her film debut. But Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015 gave her the big break to Bollywood. She played the pivot role of Salman Khan’s personal assistant. Though it is a grey shaded role, she accepted it happily and she was extremely happy to work with her childhood crush – Salman Khan. She was seen in a bold and sexy avatar in the movie and it’s the real breakthrough of her acting career. In future she would like to romance with Salman Khan on silver screen.

Like every girl, she had a crush on him since she watched Meine Pyar Kiya. The actress feels that despite being such a big superstar, the actor is Selfless. She went to London for a long tour with her family members soon after she got this role.
