Salim Kumar Biography 
Salim Kumar is an Indian film actor and mimicry artist who concentrated in Malayalam films. He is a popular comedian who is noted for his versatility of acting. He was born on 10th June 1968 in Chittatukkara in Kerala.
He studied at Government Boys High School at North Paravur and finished his pre-degree at Sree Narayana Mangalam College at Malyankara at Moothakunnam. He got his Bachelor of Arts degree from Maharajas College at Ernakulam and during this time he got many prizes in mimicry in college level competition. He shaped his mimicry skills through Cochin Kalabhavan and Cochin Sagar. His comedy program Comicola was a hit program on Asianet.
His debut film was Ishtamaanu Nooru Vattam. After this he got many opportunities and soon he became a popular comedian of Kerala. He also was considered to be a character actor. He acted in the lead role in the film Achanurangatha Veedu. Some of his films include Mayavi, Kilichundan Mampazham, Pulival Kalyanam, Marumakan, Christian Brothers, Pokkiri Raja, Gulumal – The Escape, Ee Pattanathil Bhootham, Pulijanmam, Meesa Madhavan, Soothradharan, Pakalpooram, Chattambinadu, Adaminte Makan Abu, Kaaryasthan, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu, etc.
He married Sunitha and has two sons Chandu and Aromal. He won National Film Best Actor Award for the film Adaminte Makan Abu, Kerala State Best Actor Award for the film adaminte Makan Abu, Kerala State Second Best Actor Award for Achanurangatha Veedu, Special Jury Award for Adaminte Makan Abu, Asianet Best Actor in Comic Role Award for Annan Thambi, etc. He wrote a book on his memoirs named Ishwara Vazhakkillello.
His friend Nadir Shah helped him a lot to establish his career as an actor. He gave very good performance in the film Kerala Café. He was also performing many comedy programs in private Malayalam television channel.
