Sai Dharam Tej is an Indian film actor who works in Tollywood. He is the nephew of megastar Chiranjeevi. Sai Dharam Tej is one more actor from the mega family to enter films. Chiranjeevi's sister, Vijaya Durga is Dharam’s mother. He is nephew to Tollywood actors Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan. Established actors Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Varun Tej are his cousins.  Though born into a mega family, this budding star wants to create his own identity in the film industry. Till now, Sai has done three films which received good response from critics and did well at box office.

He entered film industry in 2014 through a couple of movies - Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam and Rey and won SIIMA Award Best Debut Actor. Rey is a cult classic film with critical acclaim, though not was a huge box office success. He was paired with another debutant, Saiyami Kher for the movie. Rey was his first signed assignment, though Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam was first one to release. His recent movie Subramanyam For Sale is a huge hit. He was paired with Regina Cassandra for the movie. He has got recognition in the industry with this recent hit and now he has handful of projects. Thikka, Supreme and Shathamanam Bhavathi are lined for release.

Sai Dharam Tej was born in Hyderabad on 15 October 1987, but shifted to Chennai. But he returned to complete education at Nalanda and later did MBA in Biotechnology from IIPM. After MBA, he chose acting as his career and studied at Satyanand School in Vizag and also Barry John in Mumbai. Sai has been closely watching his three uncles since his childhood, whom he regards as his inspiration. He signed his second film Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham while shooting for Ray and Ray got delayed. Ray is a dance movie, where he worked with Saiyami Kher and Shraddha Das. He played lead role opposite Regina Cassandra for both his hits - Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam and Subramanyam For Sale.
