Sagar. S Biography 
Sagar S is a music director and lyricist belonging to Kannada film industry. Apart from films, he has composed music for jingles, television serials as well as stage plays. He has been a part of several singing reality shows as a judge and 'Fresh Voice of Karnataka' with Music Director Mano Murthy and 'Haadigaagi Haadu' are among those talent hunt shows. He began his film career in the late 1990’s. Till now, he has written more than 250 songs for albums and plays. Born in Mysore, at present his family is settled in Bangalore. He is a part of an event management NGO 'Prakruthi', working towards a greener India. He also conducts various workshops and coaching classes teaching the techniques of music composition.
Sagar was born in Mysore. He entered the Industry as a lyricist and later came to be known as a popular music director. But he has never worked under any music director as assistant before reaching the entertainment industry. He entered the Industry as an independent and a solo lyricist and a music director. He has been credited to introducing many talented musical artists to the industry including singers, lyricists and instrumentalists. He wrote his first two songs for the album 'Artha' in the year 1999 for Late Shankar. Later he wrote lyrics for his own compositions as well as several music directors of the industry.
He is known for his versatility in penning songs and his song collection includes soft romantic songs as well as fast and energetic numbers. In 2008, he received 'KALA JEEVE AWARD' and in 2011, 'Roopakala Belli Kanmani Award' as a 'Naada shreshta Kalavida' by the 'Roopakala Utsava-25'. He has composed music for music albums - Sampreethi, Deva Namana, Shubhodaya, Dhamani Dhamaniyalu Kannada and Deva Raaga.
