Sachin Tyagi Biography

Sachin Tyagi is a noted television actor associated with Hindi soaps and other series. His wife Rakshanda Khan is also a popular television actress. Sachin is best known for playing the role of Manish Goenka in the popular show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus, Swayam in Kahiin To Hoga and also lead role as a middle aged man in Swaragini. In the soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, he was seen portraying different emotional shades with ease. He played father to a 21 years old girl in the show, Family Business, when he was just 29 years old, and he is willing to accept any kind of character roles. He played the lead role in Swaragini at the age of 40. He was also the winner of Sahara One's reality music show, Jhoom India in 2008.

 

Sachin Tyagi hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He marked his television debut in the year 2003 when he entered the show, Kahiin To Hoga playing the role of Swayam, a supporting role. He was associated with the show till 2007. Since then he bagged many supporting roles, and rose to prominence with the shows like Swaragini, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai etc. Family Business, Tumari Disha, Saarthi, Saara Akaash, Soolah Singaar and Kajaal are a few more shows in which he acted. He married co-actress Rakshanda Khan on 15th March 2014. He was a divorcee then. The couple has one daughter.

 

Apart from acting singing is his hobby. In fact he released a music album in 2003, before he made his acting debut. After winning the reality musical show, Jhoom India in 2008, his musical career came to limelight once again. He beat Varun Badola in the final round to win the competition. He was into buying & selling car business before he moved to Mumbai in 1994. He wanted to pursue a career in music, but landed into the world of TV soaps.
