Ruhi Singh is a top model who has been crowned Miss Universal Peace & Humanity 2014 at Lebanon. She is also a Bollywood actress, who made her film debut with 2015 Madhur Bhandarkar film - Calendar Girls, scripted by himself. She was one among the 5 models who debut Bollywood with this flick based on fashion and glamour industry. She shared screen space with four models - Akanksha Puri, Avani Modi, Satarupa Pyne and Kyra Dutt who also made her Bollywood debut with this film. The movie was highly praised by critics, gives a sneak peek into the world of modelling and the exploitations happening in the modelling industry. She was featured in the ‘Awesome Mora Mahiya’ song for the movie, composed by Meet Bros Anjjan.

Prior to entering movies, she has been a top model. Ruhi Singh crowned Miss Universal Peace & Humanity 2014 at Beirut, Lebanon, becoming the first Indian model to get this achievement. She won the beauty pageant by beating contestants from 145 countries worldwide and she is also Femina Miss India East first runner-up in 2011.

She was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 1991. Her father stayed at Jaipur while her mother at Mumbai, and she frequently joined by her mother in Mumbai. She wanted to become a successful singer during her childhood. But in 2011 she joined modelling industry. Femina Miss India East first runner-up in 2011, followed by entry to Indian Princess 2011 and subsequently Miss Model of the World 2011 at China where she finished amongst the top 36 quarter finalists, paved way to her successful fashion career. She was placed among top 10 at Femina Miss India 2014.

With ‘Calendar Girls’ she made a successful entry to Bollywood. Though 5 girls worked together for a single film, the camaraderie between the girls went beyond the work and gradually the bonding translated to friendship. She bonded best with Avani Modi during film shoots and considers a “friend for life”.
