Rithvik Dhanjani Biography

Rithvik Dhanjani is a successful actor of Indian television. He is best known for the roles - Jay Khurana in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani of Star One and Arjun DK Kirloskar in Pavitra Rishta of Zee Tv. He also appears in many celebrity dance competitions and was the winner of Nach Baliye 6 on Star Plus along with Asha Negi. He has been dating his co-star and dance partner Asha Negi since a longtime. He was the runner-up of dancing reality show, Jhalak Dikhhala Jaa 5 where Gurmeet Choudhary with his choreographer Shampa were declared winner.

 
He was born in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh and his acting career began with a cameo in Bandini. He played Parth, a negative character in this television series. Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani of Star One was his big break to acting career. He played the main protagonist, Jay Khurana which placed him as a successful actor of small screen. Then he played the parallel lead "Arjun Digvijay Kirloskar" in the Balaji Telefilms show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV. Asha Negi was his co-star and very soon they fell in love. Now this sizzling couple of small screen is in a committed relationship. Together they appeared in Nach Baliye season 6 as dance partners and were declared winners as well.

 
Along with Ankita Lokhande, he performed on Dance India Dance Lil' Masters show. He was the Wild Card entry of 2012 Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, where he finished third. He has hosted television shows like Yeh Hai Aashiqui, DID Dance Ka Tashan and India’s Best Dramebaaz. In 2013 he won Best Actor in Supporting Role award at Indian Telly Awards.
