Remya Panickar Biography

Remya Panickar is a noted actress associated with Malayalam cinema at present. She is a trained dancer too, who is regularly associated with stage shows, and quite a familiar name in this field. She is known for playing supporting roles in films, and has most recently appeared in Prithviraj starrer Tiyaan. She was earlier seen in Malayalam flicks, Ore Mukham, Hadiyya, Happy Holiday and most recently Chunkz.

Remya Panicker was born on 19 February 1992 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. K. Devaraaja Panicker & Shaylaja are her parents. Her school studies were completed in the capital city itself, and since school days she was interested in dance and art competitions, and performed in various competitions as well. She continued her passion of art after that and later joined the prestigious Kerala Kalamandalam at Thrissur, where she took formal training in classical dance forms. She has won several prizes at state level during school and college days.

Remya Panicker made her film debut in the year 2016 with the film, Ore Mukham directed by Sajith Jagadnandan. The film produced by Jayalal Menon and Anil Biswas under the banner of Back Water Studios, was a success in the box office. She played a supporting role of Shalini in her debut flick. After that she received several film offers, and in 2017 four of the films got released as well. Now Remya is a known face among movie buffs.

In Remya’s most recent release, Chunkz, Remya portrayed the role of Jolly Miss. The movie is directed by Omar Lulu of ‘Happy Wedding’ fame, and the comedy fun entertainer starred Honey Rose, Balu Varghese and Siddique in pivot roles. Currently associated with stage shows as well, Remya maintains equilibrium between her acting and dancing career.
